IB ACIO-II TECHNICAL RECRUITMENT 2025 – OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION

1. INTRODUCTION

Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released an official notification for recruitment to 258 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the MHA website mha.gov.in from 25-10-2025 to 16-11-2025.

4. PAY SCALE & AGE LIMIT

• Pay Level: Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
• Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay
• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (as on 16-11-2025)
• Age relaxation: As per rules

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc in Electronics, IT, CS, ECE, Electrical & Electronics, Physics with Electronics, or MCA from a recognized University. Valid GATE score (2023/2024/2025) in EC or CS is mandatory.

 

6. APPLICATION FEE

• Recruitment Processing Fee: ₹100 (all candidates)
• Exam Fee for UR/EWS/OBC Male Candidates: ₹100
• Total Fee for UR/EWS/OBC Male Candidates: ₹200

7. SELECTION PROCESS

• Shortlisting based on GATE Score (2023/2024/2025)
• Skill Test – Practical & Technical
• Interview – Subject Knowledge & Communication
Total Marks: 1175 (GATE – 750, Skill Test – 250, Interview – 175)

8. HOW TO APPLY (ONLINE)

Applications must be submitted ONLINE only at mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in. Portal active from 25.10.2025 to 16.11.2025 (till 23:59 hrs).
