The CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Technical Assistant (Group B, Level-06) posts across various scientific and technical disciplines.

5️⃣ EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Essential Qualification:

Diploma/B.Sc. in relevant field with minimum 60% marks and 2 years of experience in the same discipline.

Equivalent qualification with experience in Electronics, IT, Civil, Mechanical, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or Survey Engineering accepted as per post requirements.
Desirable Qualifications (Post-wise):

TA01/TA02: Experience with servers, Linux systems, routers, LAN/WAN management.

TA03: B.Sc. in Archaeology/Environmental Sciences/Geology; experience in field archaeology.

TA04: Diploma in Civil Engineering with AutoCAD skills.

TA05: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Graphics with CorelDraw, Photoshop, and MS Office proficiency.

TA06–TA07: Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with marine survey and instrumentation experience.

TA08–TA10: B.Sc. in Biology/Zoology/Chemistry/Geology with marine/lake water sampling experience.

TA11: Diploma in Survey or Hydrographic Survey with GIS/Remote Sensing knowledge.
6️⃣ ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Maximum age: 28 years (as of 02.12.2025).

Age relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), CSIR employees (as per Govt. norms).
